Captain Randall Kenny Randall began his firefighting career in 1993 in the small town of Barker in Upstate New York. Following in family tradition Randall joined his father Bob and brother Rob in the fire service and that continues today here at Community VFD. At the age of 16, Randall started providing Emergency Medical Care onboard Ambulances and has been an EMT for the past 15 years. Randall has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Fire Protection and Safety from Oklahoma State University. While attending OSU, he worked for Fire Protection Publications, the home of IFSTA. When not volunteering at CVFD, Randall works fulltime in the oil and gas industry for BP here in Houston. Lieutenant Bob Kenny Bob has been involved in the fire service for the past 40 years in several capacities including Asst. Fire Chief, Engineer, Firefighter, EMT and now Lieutenant. At an early age, Bob followed in the footsteps of so many in his hometown and joined the Barker Fire Department in Upstate New York. His involvement extended beyond fire ground operations and included fund raising, working weekly Bingo, Chicken BBQ, Steak Roasts, Parades, Conventions and more. Bob plays a important teaching role here at CVFD, providing new and existing volunteers with valuable experience and training regarding the operation of the fire trucks, on scene tactical considerations and how to make good decisions. Bob retired from General Motors and enjoys working part time at Lowe's. He enjoys spending time with his wife Rosemary, two sons and their families. The grandchildren are already learning the way around Station 3. The family tradition continues. Lieutenant Doug Clemons Doug Clemons joined the Community Volunteer Fire Department in October 2006. Prior to joining Community, Doug got his start as a firefighter in 1996 with Pflugerville Fire Department (pflugervillefire.com) just outside of Austin, Texas. Doug has spent a good portion of his life in and around the firehouse, including participating in the Houston Fire Department ride along program during his high school years and still does today. Doug is a certified Advanced Firefighter through State Fireman’s and Fire Marshall’s Association and is a certified Emergency Medical Technician. Although firefighting is his passion, Doug makes his living as a civil trial attorney. Doug and his wife Leah live in Cinco Ranch and have one son, Jackson. Lieutenant Clifford Riner |
